America--I am Ashamed of you !!

I never thought I would say this, but I am ashamed of America.

Any other country would have arrested the leader of a coup by now.  Any other country would also have arrested those who supported it.

Yet here we are, with the politicians still playing games and seeing who needs to kiss whose ass.

Women in congress--ELECTED OFFICIALS--who support QAnon (I am talking about you, Boebert and Greene)--

Traitors like Cruz and Hawley, Jim Jordan--how do you live with yourselves?

And most of the GOP pretending that January 6 never happened.

Well, I have news for them--

WE ARE THE PEOPLE.  WE ARE THE MAJORITY, AND WE WILL NOT FORGET!  WE WILL NOT "MOVE ON" FOR THE SAKE OF "UNITY". 

NO ACCOUNTABILITY, NO JUSTICE,  NO UNITY!!!!

We do not have a functioning government, we have a bunch of losers with one goal--to promote themselves.

They have LIED under oath, LIED when they said they were for the people, LIED when they swore to uphold our constitution.

And history will remember every one of them, tainted with the stink of Trump. 

What a legacy.

 

I am SICK OF HEARING THIS

 I am so, SO sick of hearing people whining about Covid hurting their businesses! 

News flash--Covid is hurting EVERYONE!

"Oh, I can't have my restaurant or bar open, I need to have it open!"

Well if half (or more) of your customers die, you won't have a business anyway, will you?

What has happened to America?  We are all in this together, and together is the only way we will survive it.

It is no ones fault that you happen to own a restaurant or bar.  You are not being singled out and told to close because of any reason other than this;

It is too dangerous to have people congregating in groups--PERIOD!

Now, what part of this do you not understand?

Sadly, we have become accustomed to everyone crying and whining about every perceived wrong in this world.  Well, the world was not made to please you.  The world does not exist to make or keep you happy.

GROW UP.

The Post I hoped to NEVER write

 Years ago, when Trump was elected, I knew this would end badly.

I just didn't know HOW badly.

It took me a few days to come to terms with all of the things that have happened recently.  My thoughts and emotions have been all over the place. I am, in turn, sad--angry--furious--incredulous--

Just how did anyone really expect this to all end??  And has it, in fact, really ended?  With 9 more days in office--will I wake up to find we are now in a nuclear war, because Trump had another tantrum?

I sometimes feel like a child,  I go to bed afraid and wake up afraid.  Mom isn't here to hold me and tell me it will be ok.

This is NOT the America that I know.

I had just started to be able to deal with the fact that our world has changed because of Covid.  It was surreal, and I kept thinking it really couldn't possibly be as bad as they were saying--

when it was, in fact, worse.

Now when I pray at night, I thank God that my parents, and Wades parents, are not here to deal with this.  I say, you are safe, you are safe now--rest, you have no worries or cares.  If you were still here, I don't know that I could protect you--but you are with God, and you are safe.  For this, I am grateful. 

GRATEFUL that our parents are dead.  Yes, I said that.  How fucked up does the world have to be, for me to write something like that??

But my children, my grandson, people I love, are NOT safe, and I do not know that they ever will be safe again. Because of Trump.  Because of what he has done to our country and our people.

There was a time I was proud to be an American.  That time is gone.

As an American citizen, I am calling on every branch of law enforcement--

TRUMP IS A TRAITOR TO OUR COUNTRY.  HE, HIS SON, AND HIS DAUGHTER, NEED TO BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED.

When that is done, every single traitorous member of the GOP must also be arrested and charged.  They must never hold office in this country again. 

If our laws fail us in this, we are doomed.  Because they will come back, they will keep trying, and eventually--they will win.

I ask the United States Law enforcement, the US attorney General, the military, the FBI--

WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?????
